IEA NOW INDEPENDENT

Sporting organisations and athletes have very specific needs.  IEA has over twenty one years experience in providing the right cover to minimise the physical, financial and legal risk exposures.  But as well as specialist expertise, we now have an extra winning edge; independence.

IEA is now fully owned by its management, so we are now more motivated than ever to provide you with the best and most cost effective service.  Our aim is simple; to earn your continuing support by providing the best service possible to assist you in managing your sport.

Coaches talk about on-field 'risk management' to give competitors the best chance of success.  We apply that concept to every aspect of your organisation's activities.  Every decision you make involves a risk of some kind.  We can advise you how to cut that risk to the minimum, then deliver the insurance safety net that protects you if anything does go wrong.

Unaligned with any particular insurance provider, we are free to shop around for the right package of benefits to fit your needs.  Our aim is to find the most competitive price available, but the critical task is to have the correct cover to meet the risk exposure.

IEA's management remains unchanged.  Chief Executives Nigel Branson and Rod Hughes have been with IEA for 20 and 21 years respectively.  State Mangers Steven Hill (Victoria), Craig Hodgson (Queensland), Bob Young (NSW), Jason Keogh (West Australia), Mark West (Tasmania) and Kym Matthew (South Australia) have in excess of 60 years combined service with IEA

Sport continues to be IEA's focus.  Over the years we have witnessed, and even instigated,  many changes in the specialist sports insurance field.  Four years ago we identified that effective risk management was critical to the continued development of sport in Australia.  This resulted in IEA broadening its focus beyond insurance into the much wider area of risk management.  Today we are one of the few companies in the country which specialises in risk management for sporting organisations.

The incredible rate of development in information technology in recent years now presents the opportunity for IEA to provide an even better service, particularly in regard to delivering valuable information and resources to its clients.  The IEA web page (www.ieasport.com.au) will assist us to achieve our commitment of providing a high level of professional expertise.

IEA is proud of the service it has provided over the past twenty one years and looks forward with enthusiasm to meeting the challenges of the twenty first century under independent ownership
